How to use OK Suite

OK Suite has four main parts: Surgical Protocols, Gloves + Phones, Walkie‑Talkie, and Omloopkar.

1. Surgical Protocols

Use this section to create and manage surgical protocols.

  • Save protocols by hospital, surgeon and procedure name.
  • Edit, delete and share protocols when needed.
  • Add your own photos if they help explain a setup, position, instrument list or special note.
  • Make a backup regularly, especially after adding important new information.
Photos can make the app/data heavier. Use photos only when they are really useful.

2. Gloves + Phones

This section is for colleague glove sizes and important operating room phone numbers.

  • Add a colleague name and glove size.
  • Edit, update or delete saved information.
  • Add phone groups, names and phone numbers.
  • Add images/photos when they are useful for extra context.
  • Export a JSON backup after entering new data.
After updating glove or phone data, make a JSON backup so the information is not lost.

3. Walkie‑Talkie

Walkie‑Talkie is for quick communication between colleagues without sharing phone numbers.

  • Colleagues join with the same room name and password.
  • The first person who creates/joins the room becomes the admin.
  • The admin can clear messages manually.
  • If nothing is cleared manually, messages are cleared automatically around midnight.
  • You can send text, voice messages and images.
  • The admin can create a QR code to invite other colleagues into the room.
Use simple room names and only share the password/QR code with the intended colleagues.

4. Omloopkar

Omloopkar is for checking and preparing consumable supplies inside the operating room.

  • Create a list of used or needed OR supplies.
  • Share the list as text or QR code.
  • The responsible colleague can scan or read the list.
  • After the shift or procedure, the responsible colleague can prepare the used items for the correct operating room.
This is useful when one colleague prepares supplies and another colleague checks or refills them.

Free version and PRO limits

  • The free version allows up to 5 saved items in Surgical Protocols.
  • The free version allows up to 5 saved items in Gloves + Phones.
  • The free version allows up to 5 saved items in Omloopkar.
  • PRO removes these limits and is recommended for regular professional use.
Always make a JSON backup before making major changes, even when using PRO.

Backup and safe use

After adding important data, use Export JSON.
Keep the JSON backup somewhere safe.
Use Import JSON if you move to another device or need to restore data.
Do not share private room passwords or sensitive hospital data with people outside your team.

Deze hulppagina kan binnen OK Suite worden geopend, maar ook apart buiten de app. De help staat bewust los van de hoofdapp, zodat het hoofdbestand lichter blijft.

Tip: de Help-pagina kan bij het eerste gebruik worden geopend, zodat nieuwe gebruikers de app direct begrijpen.

1. Chirurgische protocollen

Gebruik dit onderdeel om chirurgische protocollen te maken en te beheren.

  • Sla protocollen op op basis van ziekenhuis, chirurg en naam van de ingreep.
  • Bewerk, verwijder en deel protocollen wanneer dat nodig is.
  • Voeg eigen foto’s toe als ze helpen bij een opstelling, positionering, instrumentenlijst of speciale notitie.
  • Maak regelmatig een back-up, vooral na belangrijke nieuwe informatie.
Foto’s kunnen de app/data zwaarder maken. Gebruik foto’s alleen als ze echt nuttig zijn.

2. Handschoenen + Telefoons

Dit onderdeel is voor handschoenmaten van collega’s en belangrijke telefoonnummers van de OK.

  • Voeg de naam van een collega en de handschoenmaat toe.
  • Bewerk, wijzig of verwijder opgeslagen informatie.
  • Voeg telefoongroepen, namen en telefoonnummers toe.
  • Voeg afbeeldingen/foto’s toe als dit nuttig is voor extra context.
  • Maak een JSON-back-up na het invoeren van nieuwe gegevens.
Maak na nieuwe of gewijzigde gegevens altijd een JSON-back-up, zodat niets verloren gaat.

3. Walkie‑Talkie

Walkie‑Talkie is bedoeld voor snelle communicatie tussen collega’s zonder telefoonnummers uit te wisselen.

  • Collega’s verbinden met dezelfde roomnaam en hetzelfde wachtwoord.
  • De eerste persoon die de room maakt of opent, is admin.
  • De admin kan berichten handmatig wissen.
  • Als er niets handmatig wordt gewist, worden berichten rond middernacht automatisch verwijderd.
  • Je kunt tekst, spraakberichten en afbeeldingen sturen.
  • De admin kan een QR-code maken om collega’s uit te nodigen voor de room.
Gebruik duidelijke roomnamen en deel het wachtwoord/de QR-code alleen met de juiste collega’s.

4. Omloopkar

Omloopkar is voor het controleren en aanvullen van verbruiksmaterialen in de operatiekamer.

  • Maak een lijst van gebruikte of benodigde OK-materialen.
  • Deel de lijst als tekst of QR-code.
  • De verantwoordelijke collega kan de lijst scannen of lezen.
  • Na de dienst of ingreep kan de verantwoordelijke collega de gebruikte materialen voor de juiste operatiekamer klaarzetten.
Dit is handig wanneer één collega de materialen controleert en een andere collega ze aanvult of klaarzet.

Gratis versie en PRO-limieten

  • De gratis versie laat maximaal 5 opgeslagen items toe bij Chirurgische protocollen.
  • De gratis versie laat maximaal 5 opgeslagen items toe bij Handschoenen + Telefoons.
  • De gratis versie laat maximaal 5 opgeslagen items toe bij Omloopkar.
  • PRO verwijdert deze limieten en is aanbevolen voor regelmatig professioneel gebruik.
Maak altijd een JSON-back-up vóór grote wijzigingen, ook wanneer je PRO gebruikt.

Deel OK Suite snel met collega’s. Zij kunnen de Play Store-link openen of de QR-code hieronder scannen.

Back-up en veilig gebruik

Gebruik Export JSON na het toevoegen van belangrijke gegevens.
Bewaar het JSON-bestand op een veilige plek.
Gebruik Import JSON als je naar een ander toestel gaat of gegevens moet herstellen.
Deel geen roomwachtwoorden of gevoelige ziekenhuisinformatie met mensen buiten je team.
